The Messiah’s Ministry: Lord over the Law

The Messiah’s Ministry: Lord over the Law
Isaiah 56:1-8 / Matthew 15:10-20
The Law, Without Christ, Is Powerless:
* The Law Alone Is Not Our Way To Know God (Is. 56:1-8)
* Tradition Alone Does Not Help Us Grow In God (10-14)
* What Is Nurtured In Our Heart Will Show Our God (15-20)
Christ is the POINT of the Law; the Law was given to show our need for Christ. When Christ is at the center of the Law, the result is relationship with God. If Christ is left OUT of the Law, the result is alienation with God.
